Welcome to Fun Nurse!
Fun Nurse is an engaging daycare incursion designed for children aged 3-5 years in kindy and pre-kindy.
The 60 minute session includes 30 minutes of age-appropriate education followed by 30 minutes of interactive role play.
The session aligns with the 'Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) outcomes and supports a variety of learning styles, including visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic approaches.
The primary goal of ‘Fun Nurse’ is to reduce children's fear and anxiety around doctors, nurses, and medical settings through fun, hands-on learning.
As a qualified paediatric nurse, I understand how the word 'nurse' can be intimidating to some children - which is why I've introduced 'Dr.Scrubs', my friendly teddy bear assistant.
